ANN INC. Recognized by Forbes as One of America's Most Trustworthy Companies

NEW YORK, April 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ANN INC., the parent Company of Ann Taylor and LOFT, has been recognized as one of America's Most Trustworthy Companies by Forbes Magazine. The recognition places ANN INC. among the most trustworthy mid cap companies for 2015.

"We are honored to receive this acknowledgment," said Kay Krill, president and CEO of ANN INC. "At ANN INC., our success has always been based on our strong commitment to quality, honesty, and integrity. We are especially proud to be recognized as a company our clients and investors can trust."

The list of the most Trustworthy Companies is published annually by Forbes and is based on thorough examination of accounting and corporate governance behaviors of more than 5,500 publicly-traded companies in North America. The companies are then ranked according to an "Aggressive Accounting and Governance Risk" (AGR) score on a 100-point scale, which also signifies their level of trust.

To develop the list, Forbes work with MSCI ESG Research to identify the 100 companies that most "consistently demonstrated transparent accounting practices and solid corporate governance."
