The Beck Group Names Gavin Cox Chief Information Officer

The Beck Group, an award-winning multidisciplinary firm, names Gavin Cox as Chief Information Officer.
PRLog - Nov. 20, 2013 - DALLAS -- The Beck Group is pleased to announce that Gavin Cox has been named Chief Information Officer. As CIO, Cox will provide vision and leadership for all aspects of Beck’s information and technology systems.

Cox joins Beck with more than 20 years of experience of leadership experience, most recently within the design and construction industries. He has a broad background in leading teams to drive change, improve business processes and implement useful technology. Cox’s prior experience leading global information technology teams will ensure Beck’s opportunities in technology remain a priority.

In the newly created CIO role, Cox will coordinate the development of all Information Technology and Virtual Building Group activities and services. He will also be responsible for evaluating overall information technology operations; overseeing the design and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software, and evaluating and procuring new hardware and software to meet the company needs.
