Health Net of California received the bronze award for outstanding performance in its 2009 HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) outcomes, which measure the quality of care and services provided by health plans.
And Health Net associate Ken Turner, R.N., was recognized for his outstanding contribution to quality improvement efforts in the Medi-Cal managed care program for his efforts to train new nurse reviewers and his service to a key DHCS task group.
