Seventy percent of Americans believe companies have an obligation to take actions to improve issues that may not be relevant to everyday business operations, according to the 2017 Cone Communications CSR Study. That means addressing some of the hot-button issues in the news today, as 78 percent of Americans believe it’s important for companies to stand up for important social justice issues.
