Energy Stocks Up On Oil News, First Solar 9% On Deal

Shares of Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) rose 2.5% to 23.58 as of late Friday afternoon, as it and other energy stocks followed an increase in Brent oil futures from an 18-month low. First Solar (FSLR) shares were trading up 8.9% after announcing plans to resume a project in Southern California.
